As most of you have probably guessed, I am no longer in my 20s, 30s, 40s, or even 50s. I am Grandma Jeanne, and I am in my 60s. My husband Dale and I thought we had our retirements all figured out and didn’t have to worry about them! We were both professionals and worked for a major corporation that had never laid off people. Well, that all changed about 15 years ago… Dale and I were both laid off. That certainly changed our retirement plans…

When I was laid off, I lost my retirement (except for vested rights). The expected retirement is no longer there. And now with the stock market in such bad condition… I know a lot of people who have lost 1/3 to 1/2 and even more of the money they were saving for retirement. Social Security is a laugh – we certainly can’t live on that! What is a person to do?

A couple of weeks ago Dale and I went to an internet marketing business conference in Dallas about making money. I had expected it to be full of young entrepreneurs, but that was not the case. Many, many of the people in the room were as old as we are and some a lot older. In fact, I saw one guy who I heard was 85 years old. We were not the only people who had lost their jobs and were worried about their retirement. A lot of the people at the conference were there for the same reasons we were. Many of the young people were there because they didn’t want what happened to us to happen to them.

I am not going to sit around wondering if the government is going to take care of me. I know that I cannot make a good income from my vested rights and social security (when I get to that point). I don’t want to move out of my home or live a life of quiet desperation! I want to stay in my home, travel throughout the world, spend money like I want, and donate to my church and favorite charities. Well, that is not going to happen unless I make it happen.

I have found what I believe to be the answer.

I wrote a MemberSNAP review that you need to take a look at. It includes an audio made by Eric Louviere, the creator and founder of MemberSNAP. For additional information about MemberSNAP and a special report on setting and achieving goals, just fill out your name and email in the form towards the bottom of the review.

Eric Louviere actually lives in the same small town outside of Austin, TX, where I live. I have met him many times, have spent time in his office, and gone out to lunch with him. He is an honest man. He tells it like it is, and I can trust him! That is very important to me. I am always so concerned about getting involved with people on the internet that I don’t know. I have had one really bad experience, and I don’t want to go there again.

My friend Eric has teamed up with experts (including a celebrity) to provide a unique program that pretty much eliminates most barriers to online passive income there are.

No more worrying about:

copywriting
coming up with ideas
picking hot niche markets
content
technical headaches
support
scripts
membership sites
managing members
frustration
etc etc etc

It’s all taken care of for you! (See my MemberSNAP review!)

… and it’s taken care of for you in a high-quality, top-shelf manner too!

But, I think he’s insane for doing all this for people. It takes a ton of work and I’m shocked he can pull it off. However, on the other hand, he has a staff of hard workers, a big office outside of Austin, TX and has the resources and skills (and know-how) to pull off such a program.

This is top-notch stuff!

Check out the video towards the top of the page and you’ll see why there’s a feeding frenzy for this program. I see this program actually changing people’s financial lives. Go here to check it out:

Thanks!

Grandma Jeanne
MemberSNAP review

P.S. This is not an MLM – I have already been there, done that, and am not interested in that. I challenge you to take a good, hard look at this program. It may be the answer to your dreams… It is to mine!

I got this the other day in my email. It sounds like a perfect post at this time of the year. Let’s know if it works for you!

During a lecture on Essential Oils, they told us how the foot soles can absorb oils. Their example: Put garlic on your feet and within 20 minutes you can ‘taste’ it.

Some of us have used Vicks VapoRub for years for everything from chapped lips to sore toes and many body parts in between. But I’ve never heard of this. And don’t laugh, it works 100% of the time, although the scientists who discovered it aren’t sure why. To stop night-time coughing in a child (or adult as we found out personally), put Vicks VapoRub generously on the bottom of the feet at bedtime, then cover with socks. Even persistent, heavy, deep coughing will stop in about 5 minutes and stay stopped for many, many hours of relief. Works 100% of the time and is more effective in children
than even very strong prescription cough medicines. In addition, it is extremely soothing and comforting, and they will sleep soundly.

Just happened to tune in A.M. Radio and picked up this guy talking about why cough medicines in kids often do more harm than good, due to the chemical makeup of these strong drugs so, I listened. It was a surprise finding and found to be more effective than prescribed medicines for children at bedtime, in addition to have a soothing and calming effect on sick children who then went on to sleep soundly.

My wife tried it on herself when she had a very deep constant and persistent cough a few weeks ago and it worked 100%! She said that it felt like a warm blanket had enveloped her, coughing stopped in a few minutes and believe me, this was a deep, (incredibly annoying!) every few seconds uncontrollable cough, and she slept cough-free for hours every night that she used it.

If you have grandchildren, pass this on. If you end up sick, try it yourself and you will be absolutely amazed at how it works.

Don’t shun this one.. Try it the next time you get a bad cold.

Take a 10-30 minute walk every day. And while you walk, smile. It is the ultimate anti-depressant.

Sit in silence for at least 10 minutes each day. Talk to God about what is going on in your life. Buy a lock if you have to.

When you wake up in the morning, complete the following statement, ‘My purpose is to__________ today. I am thankful for______________.’

Eat more foods that grow on trees and plants and eat less food that is manufactured in plants.

Drink green tea and plenty of water. Eat blueberries, wild Alaskan salmon, broccoli , almonds, and walnuts.

Try to make at least three people smile each day.

Don’t waste your precious energy on gossip, energy vampires, issues of the past, negative thoughts, or things you cannot control. Instead
invest your energy in the positive present moment.

Eat breakfast like a king, lunch like a prince, and dinner like a college kid with a maxed out charge card.

Life isn’t fair, but it’s still good.

Life is too short to waste time hating anyone.

Don’t take yourself so seriously. No one else does.

You are not so important that you have to win every argument. Agree to disagree.

Make peace with your past so it won’t spoil the present.

Don’t compare your life to others. You have no idea what their journey is all about.

No one is in charge of your happiness except you.

Frame every so-called disaster with these words: ‘In five years, will this matter?’

Forgive everyone for everything.

What other people think of you is none of your business.

GOD heals everything, but you have to ask Him.

However good or bad a situation is, it will change.

Your job won’t take care of you when you are sick. Your friends will. Stay in touch!!!

Envy is a waste of time. You already have all you need.

Each night before you go to bed complete the following statements: ‘I am thankful for__________. Today I accomplished_________.’

Remember that you are too blessed to be stressed.

When you are feeling down, start listing your many blessings. You’ll be smiling before you know it.

When I was a little girl, I was raised by my grandmother. It was just the two of us. She worked all day, and in the summer I was really bored. We didn’t have a TV, and most of my school friends were busy with their activities. I spent a lot of time reading, and I also taught myself to knit. I always liked to make afghans, scarves, and other fairly simple things.

When my children were born, I knit them several baby afghans and knitted sweaters, bonnets, booties, and Christmas stockings. I remember knitting on those tiny needles… I only made sweaters, bonnets, and booties for my own children – never as gifts. They just took too long to make! I did make baby afghans for friends, nieces, nephews, and eventually my grandchildren. I really enjoy making them in different patterns and colors. Very rewarding to make and also to give as gifts. All recipients seemed to love them…

I have now moved on to making beautiful hand-knit scarves. I started out knitting one fun-fur scarf for myself, and that was the beginning of an obsession! I love knitting with the fun fur yarn and making these scarves in so many different colors and sizes. I then discovered Homespun yarn and have knit many scarves with this yarn – sometimes I use only that yarn and other times I combine it with fun fur. Homespun yarn is so very soft and comes in such beautiful colors. I love knitting these scarves so much that I had to find a way to sell them. I couldn’t just keep increasing the size of my inventory…

The scarves are knit in a variety of colors, yarns, and sizes. I made some hand knit scarves in the colors of some of the most popular college teams in Texas – University of Texas, Texas A&M, and Texas Tech. If these aren’t your teams, the colors in these scarves may still work for you. The colors are burnt orange and white, maroon and white, and red and black.

You can just have so many scarves yourself and give so many as gifts. I also sell them at my online antique and collectibles shop named My Vintage Crafts. Take a look!

Here is a preview of some of scarves I have available for sale – they are all on sale for 1/2 off! Stock up for Christmas!
