I found this old recipe in a small notebook where my grandmother had written some recipes.
1/2 cup or 1 stick Oleo
6 or 8 medium size apples
1 cup brown sugar (more or less depending on apples)
1/2 cup flour
Wash, pare, and slice apples. Place in a greased shallow baking dish.
Sprinkle with white sugar and cinnamon.
Combine butter and sugar and add flour. Mix till it forms a course crumb. Sprinkle over apples.
Bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 35 minutes.
