This is a wonderful tasting Grasshopper alcoholic drink – perfect as an after-dinner drink. This is a very thick, creamy drink, especially when made with ice cream!

3 ounces green creme de menthe
2 ounces heavy cream or 1/2 cup vanilla ice cream (or more)
1/2 cup crushed ice

Blend in blender until smooth.

Makes 3 drinks.

Brandy Slush Recipe

Posted by Grandma Jeanne on

Recipes from Grandma

This is a very handy brandy and vodka slush recipe. You just mix up everything and store it in the freezer until you want to make a drink! Very tasty! I have used this recipe since the late 1960s, and I still love the flavor of this brandy slush and the convenience of it.

This is a perfect drink recipe for the summer. I enjoy making a brandy slush and sitting on the patio visiting with friends or reading a good book.

7 cups water
2 cups sugar

Heat and stir until nearly boiling.

2 cups strong tea – use 4 tea bags
12 oz can frozen orange juice
12 ounce can frozen lemonade
1 cup brandy and 1-1/2 cup vodka

Mix together and freeze.

Use 1/4 glass of this mixture and pour 7-Up over it.

Enjoy!
