Country Style Vanilla Ice Cream Recipe

4 eggs
2-1/4 cups sugar
4 cups milk
4 cups whipping cream
2 tablespoons vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon salt
In a large mixing bowl, beat eggs until foamy.
Gradually add sugar. Beat until thickened.
Add milk, cream, vanilla, and salt. Mix thoroughly.
Chill.
Churn freeze.
Yields 1 gallon.
