Bread Pudding Recipe

1-1/2 cups diced stale bread
3 cups milk, scalded
2 eggs, beaten
1/2 cup sugar
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 cup raisins
2 or 3 peeled and sliced apples
Cinnamon
Soak bread in milk in a buttered baking dish.
Combine eggs, sugar, salt, and vanilla . Stir into bread mixture.
Stir in raisins and apples.
Sprinkle top with cinnamon.
Bake 45 to 50 min. at 350 degrees or until knife comes out clean when inserted in center.
Serve warm with cream.
