Tavern Sandwich Recipe

This is a recipe that was printed in the Rochester, Minnesota, newspaper back in the 1970s. It was provided by one of the best upholstery companies in town.
1/2 cup catsup
1/4 cup water
1 medium chopped onion
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1/2 teaspoon chili powder
Boil all together for 1 minute.
Add 1 pound raw hamburger, and cook for 5 minutes.
Add 1 teaspoon wet mustard.
Serve on buns.
