Easy Salisbury Steak Recipe

Recipes from Grandma

1-2/3 cup saltines, crushed
2 pounds ground beef
1/2 cup catsup
2 eggs
2 teaspoons onion, chopped
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1-1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1/2 teaspoon marjoram
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
1 10-ounce can cream of mushroom soup
1 cup milk
2 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoons sherry
Garlic salt
2 ounce jar sliced mushrooms, drained

Combine first 10 ingredients. Mix well.

Shape into oval patties, and place in a deep dish.

Heat soup with milk, butter, sherry, and garlic salt.

Pour over patties. Cover.

Bake at 350 degrees for 45 to 50 minutes.

During last 10 minutes, add mushrooms.

Serves 4 to 6 people.
